It was the most antiscipated Spring tour in years, after almost losing Jerry, we were all giving another blessing so just being there was enough.What makes this the tour and this show was Jerry's clear acknowledgement that he had been to the edge and he was back, with a vengeance! I only saw the two Hartford shows and they were both great. This nite had plenty of highlights and another unique thing is Jerry's tone on his guitar which has a slight edge of distortion.The end jam on Music has Garcia roaring and almost leaves the band in the dust. The Touch is great with Jerry raising his right arm at times before he would stick a chord, we were rejoycing! The Samson has a long drummer intro fueled by the audience's fast clapping.UJB> AM Dew, is it 1973? is great. The Dew is note worthy for the bridge jam with Phil dropping bombs and Jerry's screaching lead, yes the distortion got tuned up, and a crackling ending.The quality of the recording is ok but it is worth litening to this perfromance.
